What stewardship means in circled

circled.club is a community-driven ecosystem that requires long-term care, coordination, and accountability.

Stewardship exists to:

  • Maintain structural integrity
  • Protect shared values and principles
  • Ensure continuity beyond individuals
  • Prevent silent power shifts or extraction

Stewardship does not exist to control communities, opinions, or outcomes.

Who stewards circled.club

  • circled.club is the community ecosystem
  • high-bau acts as the structural and legal steward

This stewardship includes:

  • Platform operation and maintenance
  • Legal and financial responsibility
  • Governance frameworks
  • Infrastructure decisions
  • Long-term sustainability

All stewardship roles are transparent and accountable.

What stewardship does not do

Stewardship does not:

  • Own member content
  • Direct community discourse
  • Decide project outcomes
  • Override circle autonomy
  • Monetise attention or data

Communities, Circles, and Projects remain self-organised within the platform framework and ecosystem.

Shared responsibility and evolution

circled.club is designed to evolve.

As the ecosystem grows:
  • Stewardship responsibilities may be shared
  • Governance models may expand
  • Roles may decentralise further

Any structural change to stewardship is:

  • documented
  • communicated
  • reflected in the platform’s public records

Relationship to other documents

This page complements:

  • The circled Manifesto (values & purpose)
  • The circled Ecosystem (structure & flow)
  • The circled Whitepaper (economic & systemic design)
It does not replace them.
