Want to contribute to circled.club? Start here.
circled.club grows through shared responsibility, not passive consumption.
This post explains how people can get involved, what kinds of contributions exist, and where participation should begin — without pressure, hierarchy, or obligation.
Contribution starts before roles
You do not need a title, role, or badge to contribute.
Participation can begin by:
- Exploring Spaces and Circles
- Asking thoughtful questions
- Sharing perspectives or experiences
- Helping others orient themselves
- Pointing out gaps, issues, or inconsistencies
Contribution is recognised over time — it is not assigned upfront.
Paths of involvement
As the ecosystem grows, different forms of involvement naturally emerge.
1. Community participation
Open to everyone.
However, certain spaces and circles may have unique configurations or be only for invited members.
Includes:
- Posting and commenting in public Circles
- Participating in collaborative Spaces
- Contributing ideas, feedback, or knowledge
- Supporting projects and initiatives
This is where most people start — and where many choose to stay.
2. Project & initiative contribution
For members who want to build something together.
Includes:
- Joining or initiating projects
- Working in dedicated Circles or Spaces
- Contributing skills, time, or coordination
- Helping turn conversations into action
Projects remain self-organised and purpose-driven.
3. Support & moderation contribution
For members who help keep the ecosystem healthy.
Includes:
- Helping with orientation and support
- Clarifying rules or processes
- Supporting respectful dialogue
- Flagging issues or edge cases
These roles focus on care and continuity, not authority.
4. Platform operations & stewardship
For members involved in long-term responsibility.
Includes:
- Platform operations
- Governance and process design
- Documentation and structural clarity
- Technical, legal, or organisational responsibility
These roles are earned, invited, and accountable — not claimed.
How to take the next step
If you’re interested in deeper involvement:
- Start by participating openly and constructively
- Engage where your skills and curiosity naturally fit
- Follow updates in the Platform and Collaboration Spaces
- Respond to invitations or calls for contribution when they appear
There is no application funnel and no pressure to progress.
