A declaration of purpose, values, and shared responsibility
An ecosystem for social collaboration that transforms individual stories into collective impact.
The circled Manifesto (v1.1)

Why We Exist
People deserve digital spaces that feel human — not engineered for addiction, distraction, or division.
Over the years, the internet drifted toward noise, outrage, and transactional interactions.
What once connected us began to isolate us.
What once empowered communities now amplifies conflict and confusion.
circled exists to restore what was lost:
connection, dignity, and shared purpose in communication, learning, and collective action.
We believe online communities should feel like real communities —
places where people listen, contribute, build, and belong.
Who We Are
circled is an ecosystem for social collaboration — for people, projects, and organizations who value sustainability, fairness, transparency, and solidarity.
Our principles: No ads. No tracking. No manipulation.
Circles connect within shared Spaces to learn, create, and contribute to positive change — locally and globally.
What We Aim to Achieve
Technically
- Modular, open-source-based infrastructure
- Seamless links between local and global communities
- Privacy by default and member ownership of data
- Tools for collaboration, education, and creative exchange
Socially
- Belonging and purpose
- Empowering personal voice and collective growth
- Inspiration for positive impact — not just posts
- A safe, open space for honest dialogue
Rationally / Societally
- Joint action for sustainability, culture, inclusion, and responsible innovation
- Human-centered digital environments where diversity is lived, not exploited
- Circular thinking that values long-term meaning over short-term noise
Our Philosophy
We are simple, local, global, social.
We are many perspectives, one purpose.
We accept right and left, green and blue — because diversity is the color of life.
Here we are all circled.
Strength lies not in perfection, but in speaking, listening, and learning.
Disagreement is not division — it is dialogue.
Dialogue creates understanding.
Understanding enables solutions.
Shared and scalable solutions shape a sustainable future.
How We Work
- Spaces are thematic commons for discovery, discussion, and exchange.
- Circles are member-created communities — for families, teams, projects, labs, or collectives.
- Post categories define the format and purpose of contributions.
- Labels give context and values for better discoverability.
Together, these elements build an organic structure where individual stories contribute to shared progress.
Our community teams and partners use this structure to expand the diversity and depth of our ecosystem.
Plus and Pro Members strengthen this growth by designing and leading their own Circles.
